Great Antique German Beer Stein ca. 1920's made by famous potter Marzi & Remy. The stein has a 10/20L capacity (not often stamped this way). Picture is of the Munich Frauenkirche with twin towers that provide the best view of the city of Munich. The massive Cathedral is home of the Archdiocese of Munich and is the seat of the Archbishop. This Cathedral is the landmark for the capitol city of Munich. The five ring pewter lid has no dents and depicts the famous "Hofbrauhaus" Munchen amd was engraved by the owner of the stein.
The Hofbrauhaus is only a few hundred feet from the church property. This classic antique German stein has a nice patina. The one picture showing a yellow spot is just our chandelier bouncing off the steins glaze. This is a must have for anyone collecting antique German steins. The Marzi & Remy potter's mark is stamped on the bottom of the stein.
